The SERIES OVERVIEW shows which series could been selected for viewing in MeDi-Viewer.
Within this portion of the MeDi-Viewer window series can be chosen for display in the 'Main Viewport'.
Besides the selection functionality this frame gives additional information on series.
The SERIES INFORMATION frame shows the patient name, patient id, study descripten, image number and the total image count
of the active series.
The example shows a study named 'Patient1' and containing 2 series
Select series for display by:

Single click on icon: If Main Viewport has only one series viewport, the selected series will be displayed there. Otherwise the series will be displayed in the active viewport (light blue border).
Any series (consisting of images) selected in the Series Selection will be displayed here.

The main viewport can be split in order to display several series at the same time.
Series viewports can be subdivided to show more frames or images at a time (see: Main Layout).
All functions provided by MeDi-Viewer to manipulate images are carried out in the active portion of the Main Viewport.
Active series are shown with a light blue rim, also the active image has a light blue border.
Some functions can be applied to all images of the active series or just the active image.
